About the B+W 67mm F-Pro 010 UV-Haze MRC Filter
The B+W UV-Haze #010 MRC Basic Filter is a 67mm UV filter designed to reduce ultraviolet light transmission and eliminate the bluish cast that occurs when shooting outdoors. Constructed from precision German optical glass with 7-layer broadband multi-coating on each side, this filter achieves 99.5% light transmission with minimal residual reflection, making it suitable for use without affecting exposure. The filter provides a protective clear layer for your lens front element, featuring a resistance coating that repels dirt and water while protecting against scratches and abrasions.
The brass filter ring includes an enhanced knurling pattern for improved grip and a special functional coating that enables smooth mounting and dismounting. Its low-profile design with front threads makes it particularly well-suited for use with wide-angle lenses without causing vignetting.
