The Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 Pro FX Lens is a professional-grade ultra-wide zoom designed for full-frame Nikon DSLRs. The optical design features 15 elements in 13 groups, including three super-low dispersion glass elements and three aspherical elements that work together to minimize chromatic aberration and maximize image resolution. The lens incorporates a newly developed silent DC motor coupled with a GMR magnetic autofocus sensor for fast and quiet focusing performance.
The One-Touch Focus Clutch mechanism enables photographers to switch seamlessly between autofocus and manual focus by simply moving the focus ring forward or back, eliminating the need for a separate AF/MF switch. With a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the 16-28mm focal range, this lens offers a 107° to 76° angle of view and delivers consistent optical performance for professional applications.
