The lens features an apochromatic Sonnar optical design with eight anomalous partial dispersion elements that effectively eliminate chromatic aberrations and color fringing, while a floating elements system maintains consistent sharpness and illumination throughout the focusing range. An enhanced ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating reduces ghosting and lens flare for improved contrast and color fidelity in difficult lighting conditions.
The Batis 135mm incorporates an innovative OLED display on the lens barrel that shows focus distance and depth of field range for quick reference of focusing parameters.
