The camera features dual 1/2-inch sensors capable of recording 5.7K 360-degree video at up to 30 fps or 4K single-lens video, along with 72MP still images. Its rugged IPX8-rated waterproof construction is rated for submersion up to 33 feet, while the 1800mAh built-in battery provides approximately 81 minutes of recording time per charge.
The X3 incorporates advanced stabilization through its 6-axis gyroscope and FlowState stabilization technology, ensuring smooth footage during action sports and dynamic movement. AI-powered reframing automatically converts 360-degree footage for social media use, including the "Me Mode" invisible selfie stick effect, while an upgraded audio system with four microphones and Voice Control 2.0 allows hands-free operation. The larger 2.29-inch touchscreen display provides real-time monitoring, and faster Wi-Fi 5 connectivity with Bluetooth 5.0 enables rapid file transfers to the companion Insta360 app for editing and creative effects.
