The Sennheiser AVX-ME2 SET is a digital wireless microphone system designed for videographers and content creators shooting on DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or camcorders. The system includes a lightweight bodypack transmitter, a camera-mount receiver, and a ME 2-II omnidirectional lavalier microphone that deliver clear, natural speech with minimal setup required. The receiver automatically selects a clean frequency in the 1.9 GHz band and pairs with the transmitter via a simple button press, making it operational within seconds.
The system operates at up to 98 feet line-of-sight and delivers 24-bit/48 kHz audio with automatic gain control to maintain consistent levels without clipping or distortion. Both the receiver and transmitter feature rechargeable batteries, with the transmitter providing up to 15 hours of runtime and the receiver providing up to 4 hours per charge. The compact design includes a 320-degree rotating receiver mount compatible with XLR inputs and 3.5mm outputs, making it suitable for various professional video applications.
