The AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR is a versatile zoom lens designed for Nikon FX-format F-mount cameras, offering a wide-angle to short-telephoto range that also provides a 36-180mm equivalent field of view on DX-format bodies. The lens maintains a constant f/4 maximum aperture throughout its zoom range and incorporates three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements to minimize optical aberrations and deliver sharp, accurate imagery. A Nano Crystal Coat and Super Integrated Coating reduce internal reflections and flare for improved contrast and color accuracy, while VR II image stabilization compensates for camera shake to enable handheld shooting in challenging lighting conditions.
The Silent Wave Motor provides fast, quiet, and precise autofocus with full-time manual focus override, and an internal focusing design maintains the lens's compact profile during operation.
