HVL-F20M Flashgun

The Sony HVL-F20M is a compact external flash designed for Sony cameras with Multi-Interface Shoe compatibility, offering ADI and P-TTL flash metering for accurate exposure control. It delivers a guide number of 66 feet at ISO 100 and 50mm, with coverage settings for both 27mm and 50mm lenses on full-frame sensors. The flash head tilts upward 75 degrees to enable bounce lighting, and the unit functions as a wireless TTL controller for triggering off-camera flash units.

This lightweight flash recycles in 0.1 to 5 seconds and operates on two AAA batteries, providing approximately 90 to 150 flashes per set. It features slow sync, first-curtain sync, and second-curtain sync modes, along with flash compensation adjustable from -3 to +3 EV in 1/3 EV increments. The package includes a terminal protector cap and carrying case.
