This Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro lens is designed for Nikon F-mount DSLRs and features an integrated autofocus motor that enables fast, quiet autofocus performance with all Nikon DSLRs, including cameras without internal focus motors such as the D40 and D40x.
