470EX-AI Speedlite

The Canon Speedlite 470EX-AI is an on-camera flash unit that features Auto Intelligent Bounce technology, which automatically measures the room and focus distance to tilt and rotate the flash head for even, diffuse bounce lighting. The unit offers both full-auto and semi-auto modes, with full-auto adjusting all settings automatically and semi-auto allowing manual angle selection while the head rotates based on camera orientation. The flash head provides a 24-105mm zoom range with a pull-out diffuser for 14mm coverage, a guide number of 154 feet at ISO 100 and 105mm, and full bounce adjustment with 0 to 120 degrees of tilt and ±180 degrees of rotation. Additional features include Canon E-TTL/E-TTL II compatibility, optical slave triggering for off-camera use, exposure compensation up to ±3 EV, and an AF assist beam for improved low-light focusing performance.
