BG-E11 Battery Grip

The Canon BG-E11 Battery Grip is an optional accessory designed specifically for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 5DS, and 5DS R cameras. This grip accommodates up to two LP-E6 battery packs, effectively doubling the camera's battery life compared to a single in-camera battery, or alternatively accepts six AA batteries via the included magazine. The BG-E11 provides a comfortable and ergonomic grip for vertical shooting with a dedicated vertical shutter release button and full vertical position controls including a Main Dial, multi-controller, AF point selection button, AE lock/FE lock button, AF start button, and multi-function button.

The grip's improved ergonomics make it particularly beneficial for photographers who frequently shoot in vertical orientation or take advantage of power-intensive shooting modes such as movie mode or Live View mode.
