This Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.7 Z Lens is a compact and lightweight prime lens designed for Nikon Z-mount APS-C cameras, with a 52.5mm equivalent focal length that suits landscape, architectural, nature, and lifestyle photography. The lens features a fast f/1.7 maximum aperture for low-light performance and incorporates an STM autofocus motor with Eye AF support for smooth, accurate focusing in both photo and video applications. The optical design includes 11 elements in 9 groups, including extra-low dispersion, high-refractive, and aspherical elements that reduce aberrations and distortion while a nine-blade diaphragm produces pleasant bokeh.
Weighing only 6.3 ounces with compact dimensions of 2.5 inches in diameter and 2.2 inches in length, this lens offers internal focus design and a minimum focusing distance of 13 inches. Electronic aperture control is supported for exposure adjustment, and the lens accepts 52mm front filters for additional optical accessories.
