The Viltrox AF 50mm f/2 Air Z is a lightweight prime lens designed for Nikon Z-mount full-frame digital cameras, featuring a versatile 50mm focal length ideal for everyday photography. The lens incorporates an STM autofocus motor that provides quick and quiet focusing performance suitable for both photo and video work. Its f/2 maximum aperture enables shooting in low-light conditions and produces pleasing bokeh through a nine-bladed diaphragm.

The optical design employs thirteen elements in nine groups, including three extra-low dispersion (ED) elements, four high-refractive (HR) elements, and one aspherical (ASPH) element to minimize flare, ghosting, and optical aberrations.
