The Sony BC-QZ1 is a dedicated battery charger designed for NP-FZ100 battery packs, which are used in Sony mirrorless cameras and other compatible devices. The charger features a universal 100-240 VAC power input, making it compatible with electrical systems worldwide, and includes a detachable AC cable for convenient portability and storage. A full charge cycle takes approximately 150 minutes, and an LED indicator light on the unit displays the current charging status.

The BC-QZ1 has a compact, slim design that measures 3.75 x 2.88 x 1.31 inches and weighs just 4.4 ounces, making it ideal for travel or use alongside camera gear. The charger comes complete with a USA Type-A/B plug to IEC male cable and accepts a single NP-FZ100 battery for charging at a time.
