EOS Rebel XT

The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT is a compact 8.0-megapixel digital SLR camera body featuring an APS-C sized CMOS sensor and the DIGIC II image processor for sharp, detailed image capture with natural color reproduction. The camera weighs less than one pound and measures approximately 5.0 inches across, making it one of the smallest and lightest Canon EOS digital SLR cameras available. It offers a 7-point autofocus system with selectable focus modes, fast continuous shooting at 3.0 frames per second for up to 14 frames, and a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 second with 1/200-second flash synchronization.

The camera is compatible with over 50 Canon EF and EF-S mount lenses, includes a built-in pop-up flash with E-TTL II metering, and provides an LCD monitor for image playback and menu navigation. Image files can be recorded in JPEG or RAW formats, and the camera connects to computers via USB 2.0 for fast file transfer and supports direct printing to PictBridge-compatible printers.
