The Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II is a compact point-and-shoot camera featuring a 20.1MP 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with the DIGIC 7 image processor, delivering clean image quality with minimal noise across a native ISO range of 125 to 12,800. The camera is equipped with a versatile 4.2x optical zoom lens offering a 24-100mm equivalent focal length range and a bright f/1.8-f/2.8 maximum aperture that remains consistent throughout the zoom range. Video recording capabilities include Full HD 1080p at up to 60 fps, while still photography can be captured at up to 8 fps in continuous shooting mode.

The camera's design incorporates a large 3.0-inch 1.04-megapixel tilting touchscreen LCD with 180 degrees upward and 45 degrees downward tilt for flexible shooting angles, along with a manual control ring for intuitive access to camera settings.
