Speedlite 430EX

The Canon Speedlite 430EX is a TTL shoe-mount flash designed for Canon EOS cameras, delivering a guide number of 141 feet (43 meters) at 105mm. It features a fully swiveling bounce head with an automatic zoom range of 24mm to 105mm, plus a built-in 14mm wide-angle panel for optimal flash coverage across different sensor sizes and focal lengths. The flash supports E-TTL II autofocus technology, which automatically adjusts flash power based on subject distance and other image information for accurate exposure in challenging lighting conditions.

The 430EX offers multiple exposure modes including E-TTL II, E-TTL, TTL, and manual, with variable power control from full power down to 1/64th power in whole-stop increments. It includes professional functions such as high-speed FP sync, rear curtain sync, and FE Lock for spot metering, along with wireless E-TTL II slave capability for off-camera multi-flash setups. The unit recycles in approximately 3.7 seconds with alkaline batteries and features an LCD panel with intuitive controls, six custom functions, and a bright 2-LED focus assist beam compatible with all Canon EOS autofocus systems.
