Speedlite 430EX II

The Canon Speedlite 430EX II is a shoe-mount flash unit with a guide number of 141 feet at ISO 100 and 105mm, delivering reliable off-camera and on-camera lighting capabilities. The flash head features a zoom range of 24-105mm, expandable to 14mm with the included wide-angle diffusion panel, and provides full bounce functionality with 90-degree tilt and 90-right/180-left rotation. It supports Canon's E-TTL and E-TTL II metering systems and includes wireless slave TTL functionality via optical pulse transmission across four channels and three groups at distances up to 39.4 feet.

The 430EX II recycles in 0.1-3.7 seconds depending on power mode and battery type, runs on four AA batteries with a lifespan of 200-1400 flashes per charge, and includes an AF assist beam with a range up to 32.8 feet, modeling flash, and high-speed sync capability for both first and second curtain modes.
