TS-E 17mm f/4 L

The Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L is a tilt-shift prime lens for full-frame EF-mount cameras that provides an ultra-wide 104° angle of view for architecture and interior photography. The lens features independent tilt and shift movements with up to ±6.5° of tilt for focus control and ±12mm of shift for perspective adjustment, with both functions rotatable ±90° to apply corrections in any direction. The optical design incorporates four Ultra-Low Dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberration, one aspherical element to reduce distortion, and a Subwavelength Coating on individual elements to suppress flare and ghosting.

A floating optical system and rear focus mechanism maintain consistent image quality throughout the focusing range from 9.84 inches to infinity, while a tilt-locking mechanism provides stability during shooting. The lens is sealed against dust and moisture as part of Canon's L-series construction, features a rounded eight-blade diaphragm, and has a maximum aperture of f/4 with a minimum aperture of f/22.
