LP-E6 Battery

The Canon LP-E6 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack delivers 7.2V and 1800mAh capacity, enabling approximately 850 shots per single charge at normal temperatures. This battery is compatible with Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 60D, 70D, 6D, 7D, and 7D Mark II digital cameras, and communicates directly with these cameras to display remaining capacity on the power source information screen.

The LP-E6 features an embedded microchip encoded with a unique 8-character serial number that allows you to register and track up to 6 batteries within your camera. This functionality enables you to monitor the condition and power characteristics of each battery, ensuring even usage across your battery set and helping identify batteries that are approaching the end of their useful lifespan.
