The FUJIFILM GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR is an ultra-wide prime lens designed for the G-mount GFX camera system, offering an 18mm equivalent focal length with a 99.9-degree angle of view. The optical design employs 15 elements in 12 groups, including aspherical elements to minimize distortion and spherical aberrations, along with extra-low dispersion and Super ED elements that control chromatic aberrations and enhance color accuracy. A Nano GI coating suppresses lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast in challenging lighting conditions.

The lens features a linear autofocus motor with internal focusing for quick, quiet operation and consistent optical performance throughout the focusing range. A physical aperture ring with a Command position allows both manual and camera-based exposure control, while the nine-blade diaphragm contributes to pleasing bokeh quality. The lens is dust-, weather-, and freeze-resistant, enabling reliable performance in temperatures as low as 14°F, making it well-suited for architecture, landscape, and interior photography.
