Q2 Monochrom

The Leica Q2 Monochrom is a full-frame compact camera featuring a 47.3-megapixel monochromatic CMOS sensor designed exclusively for black-and-white image capture. The sensor omits both a color filter array and low-pass filter, delivering enhanced sharpness, tonal depth, and a 13-stop dynamic range with an expanded ISO range of 100–100,000. The camera includes a fixed Summilux 28mm f/1.7 aspherical lens with optical image stabilization and a macro focusing mode for close subjects.

The Maestro II image processor enables continuous shooting at up to 10 frames per second at full resolution, along with DCI 4K24p and UHD 4K30p video recording capabilities. The camera features a 3.68-megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder, a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display, and a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body rated to IP52 specifications. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE for wireless image sharing and remote control via the Leica FOTOS mobile app.
