The Nikon AF VR Zoom-NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED Lens is a telephoto zoom lens designed for FX-format digital and 35mm film cameras with an extensive 5x zoom range. The lens incorporates Vibration Reduction technology with two operational modes to minimize camera shake, autofocus capability with manual focus override, and three extra-low dispersion glass elements that reduce chromatic aberrations and enhance contrast throughout the zoom range.

This lens features a minimum focus distance of 7.5 feet, a detachable and rotatable tripod collar for stability during extended telephoto work, and a 9-blade rounded diaphragm for smooth bokeh.
