AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D

The Nikon AF NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4D IF is an FX format prime telephoto lens designed for portrait photography and low-light work with its exceptionally fast f/1.4 maximum aperture. The lens features Internal Focus technology in which only internal lens elements move during autofocus, enabling a compact design and allowing the front element to remain stationary for seamless filter use. Super Integrated Lens Coating reduces flare and ghosting while the nine-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth, rounded background blur.

The lens offers flexible focus control with an A-M mode switch for quick transitions between autofocus and manual focus, plus a manual aperture ring for direct aperture adjustment. With a minimum focus distance of 2.8 feet and a 77mm filter diameter, this lens delivers the optical quality and handling features expected of professional portrait optics. Note that autofocus is not supported on select Nikon DX models; manual focus operation is available on all compatible cameras.
