AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G IF-ED

The AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens designed for Nikon F-mount full-frame cameras, delivering a focal length range from 14 to 24mm with an exceptional constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range. The optical design incorporates three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements that work together to minimize distortion, spherical aberrations, and chromatic aberrations, resulting in sharp and accurate imagery across the entire focal range. Nikon's Nano Crystal Coat has been applied to the lens elements to suppress internal reflections and control flare and ghosting, which enhances contrast and color accuracy in challenging lighting conditions.

The lens features a Silent Wave Motor that delivers fast and nearly silent autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override capability, making it suitable for both still photography and video work. Internal focusing design maintains the lens's overall length during autofocus operation and contributes to faster focusing speeds. The lens is supplied with a petal-shaped hood and has a minimum focus distance of 10.8 inches, a nine-blade rounded diaphragm for pleasing bokeh, and weighs 1000 grams.
