The Nikon COOLPIX P1100 is a compact digital camera featuring a 16-megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS sensor and an exceptional 125x optical zoom NIKKOR lens with a 24-3000mm focal length range in 35mm equivalent terms. The camera incorporates Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction, which provides four stops of optical image stabilization to ensure sharp handheld shots at extreme telephoto distances. Additional features include a 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD monitor, a 2.36-megapixel electronic viewfinder, and support for 4K UHD video recording at 30 fps.

The P1100 is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless file transfer and remote control via smartphone or tablet applications.
