The Nikon NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 is a compact wide-angle prime lens designed for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, featuring an ultra-slim design that measures just 0.9 inches in length and weighs only 4.4 ounces. The lens employs an all-element focusing system with a STM motor that provides fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus operation from a minimum focus distance of 7.9 inches to infinity. Its optical design includes eight elements in six groups with three aspherical elements that minimize aberrations and deliver sharp corner-to-corner image quality across its 79-degree angle of view.

The f/2.8 maximum aperture allows ample light for handheld shooting in low-light conditions, while the seven rounded aperture blades produce smooth bokeh with electromagnetic diaphragm control for accurate exposure during continuous shooting.
