The Nikon Zf is a full-frame mirrorless camera that combines vintage-inspired styling with modern imaging technology, featuring a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 7 image processor for fast autofocus and high-speed shooting. The camera offers a tactile shooting experience with precision-machined brass dials for shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation, along with a mechanical shutter that provides an audible, authoritative click reminiscent of film SLRs. A 3.2-inch articulating LCD touchscreen and prism-shaped electronic viewfinder enable intuitive control and flexible framing at any angle.

The Zf delivers robust video capabilities with UHD 4K recording at up to 30p and Full HD 1080p at up to 120p, both with internal H.265 recording. Advanced autofocus features include subject recognition with deep learning technology that identifies people, animals, and vehicles, as well as eye-detection autofocus for both photos and videos. The camera's in-body 5-axis vibration reduction provides up to 8 stops of compensation when used with Z-mount lenses, and the magnesium alloy chassis is dust and weather resistant for reliable operation in harsh conditions.
