The Nikon ZR Cinema Camera is a compact full-frame cinema camera that combines RED color science with Nikon engineering to deliver professional-grade video capabilities in a mirrorless form factor. This camera captures up to 6K resolution at 60 frames per second with 15 stops of dynamic range using REDCODE RAW, N-RAW, or ProRes RAW formats. The ZR features an integrated 5-axis image stabilization system, advanced autofocus with deep-learning subject detection for up to nine subjects, and dual-base ISO settings of 800 and 6400 for both Log3G10 and N-Log profiles.

The camera includes comprehensive audio recording capabilities with 32-bit float and 24-bit recording modes, built-in configurable microphones with five directional patterns, and support for external microphones via line input. Its 4-inch touchscreen display offers DCI-P3 color accuracy and 1000 cd/m² brightness for critical focus and exposure monitoring. Recording options include CFexpress Type B card media for high-bitrate RAW formats and microSD card slots for proxy recording, while the Nikon Z-mount allows compatibility with NIKKOR Z lenses and third-party optics.
