The OM SYSTEM OM-1 is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera featuring a 20.4-megapixel stacked BSI Live MOS sensor and TruePic X processor designed for professional stills and video work. The camera delivers 10 fps continuous shooting with mechanical shutter or 20 fps with electronic shutter, complemented by advanced Cross Quad Pixel phase-detection autofocus with AI subject detection across 1053 focus points. It records DCI and UHD 4K video at up to 60 fps with 10-bit color depth and includes 5-axis in-body image stabilization compensating for up to 8 stops of camera shake.

Creative computational imaging modes including High Resolution Shot (producing 50-80MP composites), Live Composite, Live ND, and Focus Stacking provide versatile image capture options. The camera's weather-sealed magnesium alloy body features an IP53 rating, freezeproof testing to 14°F, a 5.76-megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder, and a 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD with 270 degrees of swivel rotation for flexible shooting angles.
