The Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. is a fast prime lens designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, providing an 85mm equivalent focal length well-suited for portrait photography. The lens features an exceptionally fast f/1.2 maximum aperture that enables excellent control over depth of field and performs well in low-light conditions. The optical design incorporates aspherical elements, an ultra-high refractive index element, and an extra-low dispersion element that work together to minimize aberrations and deliver sharp, clear images with accurate color rendering.

The lens is equipped with a POWER Optical Image Stabilizer that reduces camera shake for sharper handheld shooting and an internal stepping autofocus motor that provides fast and silent focusing suitable for both photography and video work. A Nano Surface Coating enhances contrast and color fidelity by reducing lens flare and ghosting, while the metal barrel construction includes a dedicated MF/AF switch and aperture ring for intuitive operation.
