The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 II ASPH. is a fast prime lens designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras with a 50mm equivalent focal length. The f/1.4 maximum aperture enables excellent low-light performance and provides significant control over depth of field for selective focus work. Its optical construction features one ultra-high refractive index element and two aspherical elements that reduce spherical aberrations and distortion, while Nano Surface Coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting.

The lens incorporates a stepping autofocus motor with internal focusing for quick and quiet AF performance suitable for both photography and video. A rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces smooth bokeh when using shallow depth of field techniques.
