The Nikon COOLPIX L840 Digital Camera is a compact bridge camera featuring a 16-megapixel 1/2.3" CMOS sensor paired with a NIKKOR 38x optical zoom lens that delivers a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 22.5-855mm. The camera offers full HD 1080p video recording at up to 30 fps with stereo sound, and includes Vibration Reduction image stabilization to minimize camera shake and blur. A 3.0" tilting LCD monitor with 921,000 dots allows for easy composition and supports low- and high-angle shooting.

Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC enables direct pairing with mobile devices through Nikon's SnapBridge system for wireless image sharing and remote camera control.
