SkyGuider Pro EQ Camera Mount

The iOptron SkyGuider Pro EQ is an equatorial camera tracking mount designed to follow celestial objects across the night sky for long-exposure astrophotography. The system features a Right Ascension tracking motor with multiple tracking rates including solar, lunar, celestial, and half-celestial modes, along with an integrated illuminated polar axis scope for precise alignment. It supports a maximum payload capacity of 11 pounds when properly balanced and can be configured for single or dual-camera mounting, or even smaller telescope optical tubes.

The tracking head includes an included 3-pound counterweight and declination bracket to accommodate heavier imaging rigs while minimizing vibration and motor strain. The system operates on a rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery with up to 20 hours of runtime and mounts to standard tripods via either 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 sockets on the included alt-azimuth base. A Vixen-style dovetail connection allows tool-free attachment of the tracking head to the base, and the base offers latitude adjustment from -30° to 65° with ±5° azimuth adjustment range.
