The Panasonic LUMIX S 50mm f/1.8 is a compact standard-length prime lens designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, with compatibility on APS-C models where it provides a 75mm equivalent focal length. The lens features a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture that enables shallow depth-of-field control and performs well in low-light conditions. Three aspherical elements, including extra-low dispersion and ultra-high refractive index elements, minimize chromatic aberration and color fringing while delivering excellent sharpness across the frame.

The linear autofocus motor suppresses focus breathing and provides smooth, precise, and nearly silent focusing suitable for both photography and video work.
