About This Used PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver in Like New Condition
The PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver is a wireless radio trigger designed to remotely control cameras and flashes from up to 1640 feet away in normal mode or nearly double that distance in Long Range mode. This auto-sensing transceiver automatically switches between transmitter and receiver modes and features 32 channels with Quad-Zone Triggering capability to manage up to four separate zones of remote equipment from a single position. The unit supports continuous shooting at up to 14.5 frames per second with sync speeds of 1/250 second for focal plane shutters and 1/500 second for leaf shutters.
The Plus III features a backlit LCD screen with side-view display and soft-touch keypad interface for intuitive control of channels, zones, and operating modes. It mounts directly to any camera hot shoe and includes versatile connectivity options with a miniphone jack for flash and remote equipment, plus included cables for various attachment configurations. The transceiver operates on two AA batteries with approximately 50 hours of battery life and is compatible with all prior FCC-compliant PocketWizard systems and PocketWizard-enabled lighting equipment.
