GR II

The Ricoh GR II is a compact digital camera featuring a 16.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor without an optical low-pass filter, enabling sharp, high-resolution images with low noise at sensitivities up to ISO 25600. The camera is equipped with a fixed Ricoh GR 18.3mm f/2.8 lens (equivalent to 28mm on a 35mm camera) and the GR ENGINE V image processor, which delivers high-speed autofocus in 0.2 seconds, 1-second startup time, and continuous shooting at 4 frames per second.

The magnesium alloy body combines portability with intuitive physical controls, including dedicated autofocus and aperture preview buttons for responsive operation. Additional capabilities include Full HD 1080p video recording at 30 fps, built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, wireless flash control for compatible external flashes, and support for both DNG RAW and JPEG image formats, allowing photographers to choose between maximum post-processing control or convenient standard files.
