GR III

The Ricoh GR III is a compact, pocketable digital camera featuring a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor paired with the GR Engine 6, which produces high-resolution images with impressive tonality and natural color rendering across an ISO range of 100 to 102,400. The camera is built around a 28mm-equivalent wide-angle lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8, complemented by a hybrid autofocus system that combines contrast-detection and phase-detection mechanisms for fast, precise focusing with face and eye detection capabilities. It is equipped with a 3-axis shake reduction system, the first of its kind in a GR camera, enabling sharper handheld shooting in low-light conditions, along with a 3.0-inch 1.037-megadot touchscreen LCD for intuitive operation.

The GR III incorporates a magnesium alloy body design that is lightweight and durable, making it ideal for everyday carry and street photography. Additional features include Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 60 frames per second, an integrated ND filter, multiple metering modes, 11 image control presets, and in-camera multi-exposure compositing with unlimited sequential exposures. Connectivity options include Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi for wireless file transfer and location embedding, while the USB-C port enables both charging and data transfer, supported by an included DB-110 rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides approximately 200 shots per charge.
