The Ricoh GR III Diary Edition is a compact digital camera featuring a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor paired with a fast 28mm f/2.8 lens, delivering high-resolution images with excellent color rendering and sharpness for everyday and street photography. The camera introduces a 3-axis Shake Reduction system to the GR line for the first time, enabling sharper handheld shooting in challenging lighting conditions, while its hybrid autofocus system combines contrast and phase-detection methods for reliable subject tracking and face/eye detection capabilities. This Diary Edition variant features a distinctive textured metallic warm gray finish complemented by a dark-brown rubber grip and warm aesthetic design elements that set it apart from the standard model.

The camera's pocketable magnesium alloy body weighs just 9.07 ounces and includes a 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD, Full HD 1080/60p video recording, and wireless connectivity through Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi for seamless file transfer and location tagging.
