GR IIIx HDF

The Ricoh GR IIIx HDF is a compact APS-C digital camera featuring a distinctive built-in Highlight Diffusion Filter that creates a soft, diffused effect on highlights for a dreamlike image quality. It pairs a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with the new GR Engine 6 to deliver 14-bit raw files and JPEGs with excellent tonality and color accuracy across an ISO range of 100 to 102,400. The camera is built around a newly designed 26.1mm f/2.8 prime lens, equivalent to 40mm on full-frame, which provides sharp optics with high refractive index glasses and aspherical elements while maintaining a compact, pocketable form factor.

The hybrid autofocus system combines contrast-type and phase-detection AF mechanisms for fast and accurate focusing, with face and eye detection capabilities. Additional features include a 3.0-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD, 3-axis 4-step shake reduction, Full Press Snap for decisive street photography, and multiple metering modes including highlight-weighted metering. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE for wireless file transfer and location tagging, while the included DB-110 lithium-ion battery provides approximately 200 shots per charge via USB-C fast charging.
