GR IIIx Urban Edition

The Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition is a compact digital camera built around a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor paired with GR Engine 6 processing, producing high-resolution images with exceptional tonality and natural color rendering across a native ISO range of 100 to 102,400. The camera features a newly designed 26.1mm f/2.8 prime lens equivalent to 40mm on a full-frame camera, offering a narrower field of view and greater visual compression than the standard GR III's 28mm equivalent lens. The hybrid autofocus system combines contrast-detection and phase-detection mechanisms for fast, precise focusing, while a 3-axis, 4-step Shake Reduction system enables sharper handheld shooting in low-light conditions.

This Urban Edition variant features a distinctive metallic gray body finish with a navy blue ring cap, combined with a compact pocketable design that weighs just 262 grams and includes a 3-inch 1.037m-dot touchscreen LCD. Additional capabilities include a macro mode for close-focus work, integrated 2-stop ND filter, built-in crop modes simulating 50mm and 71mm focal lengths, Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 60fps, and wireless connectivity via Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi for file transfer and remote control via the companion mobile app. The camera is powered by an included rechargeable lithium-ion battery offering approximately 200 shots per charge and features USB-C connectivity for file transfer and in-camera charging.
