The Rollei 35AF is a compact 35mm film camera featuring a five-element 35mm f/2.8 lens with both automatic and manual focus capabilities. The camera incorporates LiDAR-based autofocus technology for precise focusing from 2.3 feet to infinity, along with auto exposure and aperture control ranging from f/2.8 to f/16. It offers manual shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/500, ISO film speed options from 25 to 3200, and a built-in flash with adjustable intensity. The compact body measures 4.1 x 3 x 2.2 inches and includes a 10-second self-timer, tripod socket, and optical viewfinder for handheld operation.

The chrome finish model comes equipped with front dials displaying aperture, shutter speed, exposure count, and film type, along with manual film advance and rewind controls.
