Alpha A5000

The Sony Alpha A5000 is a compact mirrorless digital camera featuring a 20.1-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ X image processor, delivering high-resolution images with minimal noise and impressive low-light performance up to ISO 16000. The camera includes a 3.0-inch 460.8k-dot tilting LCD monitor with a 180-degree tilt range for flexible composition, plus full HD 1080p video recording at up to 60 fps using the AVCHD codec.

This camera offers fast autofocus with 25 contrast-detection points and continuous shooting up to 3.5 fps, making it suitable for a variety of shooting scenarios. Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity enable quick sharing to mobile devices, while intelligent shooting modes such as Superior Auto, Hand-held Twilight Mode, Auto Object Framing, and extensive Picture Effects provide creative control and ease of use. The camera accepts Sony E-mount lenses and features USB charging with a battery rated for approximately 420 shots per charge.
