Alpha A6500

The Sony Alpha a6500 is an APS-C-format mirrorless camera featuring a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ X image processor for clean, detailed image quality with sensitivity up to ISO 51200. The camera delivers continuous shooting at 11 fps for up to 301 JPEGs and supports 14-bit raw output, along with internal 4K30 and Full HD 1080p120 video recording with full pixel readout for minimal aliasing and moiré. A robust magnesium alloy body with dust and moisture resistance houses a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and a tilting 3.0" 921.6k-dot touchscreen LCD with White Magic technology for bright daylight visibility.

The a6500 incorporates a powerful 4D FOCUS system with 425 phase-detection and 169 contrast-detection points for precise autofocus in 0.05 seconds, plus High-density Tracking AF for accurate subject tracking. Five-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization compensates for camera shake across all focal lengths and works with any mounted lens, including adapted glass. Integrated Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity enable wireless control and direct image sharing to mobile devices, while the camera supports S-Log3 gamma and S-Gamut3 color profiles for up to 14-stop dynamic range and professional post-production flexibility.
