The camera provides fast autofocus performance through a 693-point hybrid AF system that covers approximately 93 percent of the frame, along with 5-axis image stabilization that compensates for camera shake during handheld shooting. It supports UHD 4K video recording at up to 30 frames per second in XAVC S format, with professional color and gamma controls including S-Log3 and HLG support for extensive post-production flexibility.

The body features a touchscreen LCD with a tilting design, an XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, weather sealing, dual SD memory card slots, and USB Type-C connectivity for faster data transfer and charging.
