The Sony a7 V is a full-frame mirrorless camera designed for both photography and video content creation. It features a 33MP partially-stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ XR2 processor and dedicated AI unit, enabling 759-point phase-detection autofocus with advanced subject recognition and tracking capabilities. The camera records 4K video at up to 60fps with 7K oversampling for exceptional detail, 4K 120fps in Super 35 crop, and supports multiple professional recording codecs including S-Log3 for grading flexibility.

The a7 V delivers significant operational improvements including blackout-free 30fps continuous shooting, upgraded 5-axis in-body image stabilization with up to 7.5 stops of compensation, and a 3.68-megadot OLED viewfinder paired with a versatile 4-axis tilting LCD touchscreen.
