Alpha A7R II

The Sony Alpha a7R II is a full-frame mirrorless camera featuring a 42.4-megapixel Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ X image processor, enabling high-resolution image capture at sensitivities up to ISO 102,400. The camera incorporates 399 phase-detect autofocus points for accurate tracking at up to 5 fps continuous shooting, along with 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE stabilization that compensates for camera shake across multiple axes. Video capabilities include internal UHD 4K recording at 24 or 30 fps in XAVC S format, with S-Log2 gamma and customizable picture profiles for post-production flexibility.

The body is constructed from magnesium alloy with improved weather sealing and a reinforced lens mount designed for use with large lenses. The reduced-vibration shutter is rated for 500,000 cycles and offers a silent shooting mode, while the camera features a 0.5-inch 2.36-megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder and a 3.0-inch tilting LCD monitor. Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC connectivity and support for PlayMemories Camera Apps provide remote operation and wireless image transfer to mobile devices.
