The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R is a compact digital camera featuring a 24.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor paired with a fixed Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens, delivering high-resolution imagery and full HD 1080p video in a portable form factor. The camera's BIONZ image processor enables 14-bit RAW recording, continuous shooting at 5 fps, and a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25600 for effective low-light performance. The removal of the optical low-pass filter maximizes sharpness and resolution, though users should be aware that this design choice increases the likelihood of moiré artifacts in certain subjects.
