E 10-18mm f/4 OSS

The Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS lens is an ultra-wide angle zoom designed for APS-C-format E-mount cameras, delivering a 15-27mm equivalent focal length range. The constant f/4 maximum aperture provides consistent performance across the zoom range and enables shallow depth of field techniques when desired. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization reduces camera shake for sharper handheld photography at slower shutter speeds, and can be combined with compatible camera bodies' sensor-shift stabilization for enhanced blur control.

The lens incorporates one Super ED glass element and three aspherical elements that work together to minimize chromatic aberrations, color fringing, astigmatism, field curvature, and other optical distortions throughout the focal length range. An internal focus mechanism enables fast autofocus response while maintaining a compact, non-extending physical design, and achieves a minimum focus distance of 9.8 inches. The seven-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth bokeh quality when employing selective focus techniques.
