The Viltrox AF 15mm f/1.7 Air XF is a bright, compact wide-angle prime lens designed for FUJIFILM X-mount APS-C cameras, providing a 22.5mm full-frame equivalent focal length ideal for street, landscape, and architectural photography. The lens features an ultra-bright f/1.7 maximum aperture that performs exceptionally well in low-light conditions and enables shallow depth-of-field effects with its nine-blade diaphragm. Internal STM autofocus motor delivers smooth, quiet focusing performance with a minimum focus distance of 9.1 inches.
The optical design includes twelve elements in ten groups, incorporating three ED lenses, three HR lenses, and two aspherical elements to minimize flare and ghosting while maximizing contrast and sharpness. Weighing just 6.3 ounces, this lightweight lens is constructed with a precision hardened aluminum-alloy bayonet and includes a 58mm filter thread for broad accessory compatibility. Additional features include electronic aperture control, USB-C connectivity for firmware updates, and an 84.9-degree angle of view.
