The Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4 XF is an ultra-wide prime lens designed for FUJIFILM X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, providing a 20mm equivalent focal length ideal for landscapes, architecture, street photography, and cityscapes. The lens features a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture that enables shooting in low-light conditions while maintaining a compact form factor of just 14.8 ounces. Its sophisticated optical design includes 14 elements in 11 groups, with two aspherical elements and four extra-low dispersion elements that minimize distortion, aberrations, and color fringing across the entire focusing range.
The autofocus system uses an STM motor for fast and responsive focusing, with a close minimum focus distance of 8.7 inches and a nine-blade diaphragm that produces pleasing bokeh. The lens is engineered specifically for video work, effectively eliminating focus breathing during focusing adjustments, making it suitable for both stills and professional video capture.
